Kia ora Riley,
Hi Riley my name is Manasseh. I am a year 7 student at HNI. I love to go biking ,drawing and scootering. I have three brothers and live in Hastings. I have around 4 neighbours that I play with after I do homework every day even when it is raining. I like to play canoe polo on a Saturday or Sunday. You should really play it if you don’t already.
Our class is learning about change makers, the people like you. Change makers are people that do a lot in the community or the world like Abraham Lincoln. He stopped slavery in America. Change makers don't necessary have to do good they can be like Sir Edmund Hillary and how he was the first person to climb Mount Everest.
What you are doing for your friend is something extraordinary. Most kids will come to the hospital and give him gifts but you are trying to save his life instead. Bryn, Hunter and I are trying to raise money for you by having a school sausage sizzle or doing a race.
Riley I hope that other people help others just like you because what you are doing for him is amazing. If you want to contact me my email is manassehgabayi@gmail.com
Kind Regards
Manasseh
Room 12 HNI
